Kirkjubaejarklaustur and double waterfall

There is a spectacular double waterfall at Kirkjubaejarklaustur, a little community on the Icelandic South Coast. There unfortunately is no good angle from near by to see the whole line of the waterfall, since it runs through the woods on the bottom of it. But it is really interesting to check this out by hiking in the few meters from the nearest road.

The whole layout of the waterfall looks like it is so surreal that you do not believe it is natural and by coincidence. A theme park would probably not dare to set up such a blatant line up of two shoots of water crashing down the smooth curve of the rock.

But here it is, enough of words.
