Squirrel time

Fall is coming and the squirrels are about to rejoin the feeder. Here is a cute munching picture for you to start this out.

Cutes in the tree

Here is another one of my cutie in the tree.

Flashback

The squirrel pictures were getting out of hand in amount this summer. Not that I do not like the little guys a lot. But I did not want to bore you, totally anyways.

Now, though, I think that you might like another cherry picking photo.

The squirrel looks hungry, right? Good that we provide food.

This is another photo of last Saturday morning. The squirrel was climbing in the tree and I spotted it after my breakfast. I grabbed my camera and went outside. It let me get really close, then climbed higher into the tree.

I just love how they use their front legs as hands and how they carefully grab a cherry and pluck it off. Just too cute.

A Cherry

I can totally tell, why the squirrels love the tree so much. Next to the feeding station we put up for the little guys and the bird feeder we have placed underneath, there are endless amounts of really tasty cherries in the tree for weeks already. We notice that the squirrels love these as much as we do.

on a quest

I found one of "my" squirrels high up in the tree yesterday. He was running the branches, looking down at me and kept running around some more.

Inside the Feeder

Our squirrel has - more than once - decided to be sitting inside the feeder. It keeps turning in tight circles in there, grabs a nut, nibbels it, spinns around again, and keeps eating. It is really cute to watch.

I did get to sneak a lot closer to the little guy, lately. He kept coming and going and didn't seem to mind.

So, how do I get into the feeder now?

Blurry but too cute

yes, image quality is questionable here, but this squirrel is just fast. The picture was too cute, though, to not show it. It has flair, though, right?

Flipped out

This particular squirrel seems to like climbing into the feeding box. And when he comes out, there is an opportunity for funny images, if I am fast enough. I mostly am not, but I am getting better.

More squirrel pictures

I constantly get asked for more photos of my squirrels. Since they keep coming to my garden, I get the chance to take more pictures.

Squirrel goes mad

My squirrel lately ran down the tree to chase off the other little squirrel that came up. In this photo you can see the one that ran down and posed to intimidate.

The little guy

We now have three squirrels in our garden. They may be fast, but they make gread photomodels nonetheless.

 

He got back out

The squirrel got back out of the feeding box, of course. And he did it in style!
