An uneven race

In the Oslo airport, kids were playing with the walking belts. I totally understand and would have almost joined the fun. 

Concert nights

We lately spent the evening at the Snarky Puppy concert in Cologne. It was a packed, large hall. We had seen them in more clubby settings in the last years. They can well rock the big hall, too, though.

Line up of sails

At the surfer beach there also were sailers with light weight boats. I like how they lined up in this shot.

Beach Day

This is a shot of a surfer's beach in Brittany. It is a seach quest to find the surfers in this shot, though.

Man at work

With sparks flying and darkness all around, you can even snap action shots like this with a cell phone camera. Pretty amazing, I have to say.

A lonely race horse

This was probably an outing for fun and not a training session. The horse coming by us was really scenic, though.

Surfer's Paradise

This section of Quiberon is a surfer's paradise if you ask the crowd out in the sea. Just look at them lying on their boards out there. I have seen people master much bigger waves but since I am not taking part in the sport myself, I can not tell if this spot was actually pleasant to master or not. I just know that it is a place people travel to from afar.

The curve in the Beach

I feel like this beach is curling up like a Fibonacci sprial. And then there are the 2 people and that dog. They almost complete the back curl for me.

Climbing

There are the wrong shoes. Really the wrong shoes. But the rock is forgiving. It is sandpaper on the hands and I was not happy climbing on it. 

Row the boat

This is an image I took in the harbor of a fishing town in southern Madeira. The man was rowing out to one of the bigger boats that was tied up on a ancor further out in the bay.

Pierced

When walking down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, Scotland, in summer 2013 I took a glance at this street vendor. She is the most pierced person I ever saw.

Scary Place

Edinburgh is full of scary places and all those ghost infused places and stories. But this here is a real life person that was walking into a bar. It was broad daylight and I do not even want to start to understand what was going on or why.

Anyways he was entering the "Frankenstein"  pub and I do think that also in there, people were scared then.

Snarky Puppy in Dortmund

On 2 November Snarky Puppy was back in Dortmund and we had the tickets for the concert in Domizil.

For once

For once I am showing an image of myself. I thought I needed to do that for a change.

Within the Tunnel

When hiking along the Levadas on Madeira we did take several trips that involved passing through the tunnels, partially for quite a long stretch. They can be narrow or wider, none of them is really big, partially you hit your head and arms all the time, others are more comfortable to walk.

All of them - as far as I know - are not lit up and the daylight fades after a few meters in. Good headlamps and flash lights are essential.

The County Girl Diner

We took a day trip to Vermont and came through Chester, Vt. There we noticed the Country Girl Diner and thankfully decided to stop there and have lunch. It was really great. The atmosphere, the food, the nice talk with the 2 waitresses and the only other guest at the time. In all: We had a great time! Thank you to the team!

Faneuil Hall

We - of course - went through Faneuil Hall when we were spending time in downtown Boston.
