The Jökulsárlón is well known along the Icelandic South coast. Next to the main lagoon other tongues of the same main glacier - which is Vatnajökull - come down into other lagoons. Those may be smaller, but they are no less impressive. This lagoon we came by in the evening while the light was changing. This one is located a little further back from Route 1 and therefore less visited, but very close to the Jökulsárlón. And it is just to the west of the main lagoon.
