The weird angles the colums come together in did amaze me a lot. It is even more crazy to walk around the corners and get stunned by yet another formation. There will be a video sequence coming some day. Video really shows it well and panoramic but it is a lot of work to cut and edit.

Wenn sich Basaltsäulen bilden, formen sie sich in der Regel im 90 Grad Winkel zur Oberfläche. Meistens sieht man sie also senkrecht stehen. Nicht so in Hljódaklettar in Nordisland.
Die seltsamen Winkel in denen die Säulen zum Untergrund und zueinander stehen, haben mich sehr fasziniert. Es ist noch unglaublicher um eine Ecke nach der anderen zu biegen um noch mehr ungewöhnliche Formationen zu entdecken. Es folgt irgendwann noch eine Video-Sequenz hiervon, aber Video zu editieren und zu schneiden ist eine ganze Menge Arbeit, finde ich. Es dauert also noch ein bisschen.
