An arctic tern fishing in the coastal waters of Vatnsnes. This stretch of water lies between a few lines of rocks and the final shore line. Along the coat we found a large amount of arctic tern chicks that were hopping around and flying short distances and waiting for food, brought by their parents. There were a lot of birds fishing for that reason. Just this one was nicely close to the shore, so I got good views and can share them.
Northern Iceland, Vatnsnes.
