Nesting Penguin

In the Ocenario in Lisbon, Portugal, we did get to meet a group of penguins.

They seemed to enjoy themselves despite the zoo situation. One bit of proof that they are doing ok, I think, is the fact that several young ones are born every year.

The high light for me was not the sun bathing of the penguin up top. On the side of the viewing platform but well out of reach we saw this penguin nesting and sitting on an egg.
