You wouldn't think that you happen upon a scene like this when strolling through New York. When we came up to Rockefeller Plaza and wanted to take a peek at the ice rink, just quickly. Astonishingly the ice was pretty clear of people and the remaining ones were being directed off the ice.
That moment another song came on and all of a sudden the crowd knew: A proposal!
Everyone knew what was going on - everyone but the future bride.
She found out when the spouse went onto one knee and presented the ring. She did accept and then took another round around the rink.
Man denk ja nicht, dass man so eine Situation selbst sieht, wenn man durch New York läuft. Als wir zum Rockefeller Plaza kamen und einen kurzen Blick auf die Eisbahn werfen wollten, waren wir erstaunt, dass darauf kaum Leute waren und viele der anderen vom Eis geleitet wurden.
In diesem Moment wechselte die Musik und auf einmal wußte jeder um die Eisbahn herum: Ein Heiratsantrag!
Jeder wußte es, nur nicht die zukünftige Braut.
Sie hat es herausgefunden, als er aufs Knie fiel und den Ring präsentierte. Sie hat den Antrag angenommen und mit ihm eine weitere Runde um die Eisbahn gedreht.
