Goðafoss

Goðafoss in Northern Iceland is probably the most majestic fall I have ever been to. I hear people compare it to Niagra Falls a lot - and there is some reason to compare them. But despite the fact that Goðafoss is far less high it is by far the more impressing fall. It is more rough, more natural, less "presented" and overall more picturesque.

Goðafoss In Nordisland ist der wohl imposanteste Wasserfall, an dem ich je war. Ich höre häufig Vergleiche zwischen Goðafoss und den Niagarafällen und es gibt durchaus gute Gründe, beide zu vergleichen, aber Goðafoss ist bei weitem beeindruckender. Er ist rauer, natürlicher und weniger "zur Schau gestellt", außerdem ist er viel malerischer gelegen.
