Flying with Flugfélag

Traveling through Iceland you can do in a lot of ways. Car, bus, hiking and everything. But for bridging longer distances you can take flights with Flugfélag, Air Iceland (which is different from Iceland Air, just as a side note).

These turbo prop machines fly from Reykjavík, for example to Isafjordur in the Westfjords. On one of these flights, I took these pictures of the landscape.

Durch Island kann man auf verschiedene Arten reisen. Mit dem Auto, dem Bus, Wandernd und so weiter. Aber um längere Distanzen zu überbrücken, kann man mit Flugfélag, Air Iceland, fliegen. (Das ist übrigens nicht das Gleiche wie Iceland Air).

Die Turbo Prop Maschinen fliegen von Reykjavík aus, beispielsweise nach Isafjordur in den Westfjorden. Auf einem dieser Flüge habe ich diese Bilder gemacht.
